In this Emmymade How-to: learn how to make scrumptious chewy homemade Australia New Zealand Army Corps cookies. Note: The oven in this video is a combination microwave/conventional oven. As the recipe instructs please BAKE your cookies, DO NOT microwave them. 🙂 Thanks. 1 C. all-purpose flour 1 C. rolled oats 1/2 C. brown sugar, packed 1 C. shredded non-sweetened coconut 1/2 t. salt 1/2 C. butter 2 T. honey or treacle/Golden syrup 1 T. boiling water 1/2 t. baking soda Preheat oven to 325°F/170°C. Melt butter & honey/treacle in a small saucepan. Combine dry ingredients (except baking soda) in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, dissolve baking soda in boiling water & add to butter mixture. Add butter, honey, baking soda, water mixture to dry ingredients; mix well. Shape dough into 1″ balls, slightly flattening them into patties. Bake for 12 min. or until golden brown. Do you know that you can bake cookies in microwave? Just mix and microwave! Easy enough for kids to bake 😉 I received so many requests for cup measurement… so I decided to make another video to answer that question. But I personally don’t prefer to measure it with cup because the cup measurement differs depending on the country you live. In this video, I will use metric cup (1cup = 250ml). So, if your cup has a different measurement, please measure by milliliters! If you want to know gram or ounce measurement, please watch this video. www.youtube.com PLEASE BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN YOUR COOKIES!!! Cooking time depends on the heat (wattage) of your microwave. ——————————— Microwave Cookies (Metric Cup Measurement) Difficulty: Very Easy Time: 15min Number of servings: 24 cookies Note: 1cup = 250ml or 250cc Ingredients: 1/2cup = 125ml butter (softened) *100g (3.5oz.) 1/4cup = 62.5ml granulated sugar 1 egg 1cup = 250ml cake flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4cup = 62.5ml chocolate chips Directions: 1. Beat butter and sugar until creamy, add egg and mix well. 2. Sift cake flour and baking powder in 1. and mix well. Add chocolate chips and mix well again. 3. Drop 4 cookie dough at a time by tablespoon onto parchment paper on microwavable plate or tray. *You don’t want to burn your plate, so please line with the parchment paper. 4.
